ARTIST STATEMENT

In my photographic work, I aim to interrogate images that are used to define places and territories. I try to reveal the weakness and paradoxes carried by the images that aim to represent territories but also to show those often iconic places from different points of view than the usual ones, and to create visual representations that tell other and lesser stories; the ones that are often in the shadow of dominant ones.
