Curt Mercy is an alt-pop, indie artist based in Brooklyn, New York. Influences include Curtis Mayfield and Sylvan Esso. Curt Mercy released her debut single back in November 2021 called, Keep Your Mind Right. Curt Mercy is working on a full-length album at her music studio in Ridgewood, Queens.

T.B. Grennan was born in Vermont, lives in Brooklyn, and once read the entirety of Shirley Hazzard’s The Transit of Venus while stuck on a delayed plane. His writing has appeared in The Indiana Review, Digging Through The Fat, The Seventh Wave, TIMBER, and “Spaces We Have Known,” an anthology of LGBT+ fiction, among other publications.


Elinol López is a writer and researcher from Washington Heights, NYC. Her short story “It Becomes Me”, was selected as Digging Through The Fat’s 2021 Editor’s Choice Winner and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Her recent work includes a performance of her poem “Craft & Release.” The event was moderated by Sydney Valerio, hosted by the Dominican Writer’s Association, and sponsored by Poets & Writers. Her essay “Decoding La Doña’s Love” appears in “La Doña: Essays on the Dominican Matriarch.”

Sue Mell is a writer from Queens, NY. She earned her MFA from Warren Wilson, and was a 2020 BookEnds fellow at SUNY Stony Brook. Her debut novel, Provenance, won Madville Publishing’s 2021 Blue Moon Novel Award and comes out in July 2022. Her collection of micro essays, Giving Care, won the 2022 Chestnut Review Prose Chapbook Prize, and her collection of short stories, A New Day, was a finalist for the 2021 St. Lawrence Book Award. Other work has appeared in Cleaver Magazine, Hippocampus Magazine, Digging Through The Fat, Jellyfish Review, Narrative Magazine and elsewhere. Find her at http://www.suemellwrites.com.

Lucía Orellana Damacela is an author, translator, and educator born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. She has published the poetry books and chapbooks Inherent (Fly on the Wall Press, 2020), Longevity River (Plan B Press, 2019), Sea of Rocks (Unsolicited Press 2018), and Life Lines (winner of The Bitchin’ Kitsch chapbook competition, 2018). Her work has appeared in Tin House Online, PANK, Digging Through The Fat, Carve, Tales of Two Cities: Singapore and Hong Kong, and other venues. She has taught at the Universidad Católica de Guayaquil and at New York University, where she completed her MFA in Creative Writing in Spanish.
